Simple steps to connect your Brother Printer to a WIFI Network

Getting started 

1. You’re going to need the password and network name for your wireless network (this can usually be found on the back of the modem)
2. Ensure your printer and computer are switched on

Set up your WIFI connection

1. Select the ‘menu’ button (if you have a touchscreen select ‘Settings’ or ‘Spanner & Screwdriver icon’ then select ‘All settings’)
2. Using the arrow keys, scroll down to ‘Network’ then press OK
3. Select W-LAN
4. Using the arrow keys, scroll down and choose the ‘Setup Wizard’
5. Press OK (it may take a moment while it searches)
6. Select your WIFI network (if you are prompted ‘use WPS?’ you can select NO)
7. Enter your WIFI password, then press OK
8. You’ll be prompted  ‘apply settings?’ Press  1 to select ‘YES’
9. If your password is correct a message will read ‘connected’
10. A ‘connection ok’ report will then print automatically.
